Michael has spent over twenty years in the financial services industry as a financial advisor. He completely rebuilt his business thirteen years ago opting to start over with virtually a brand new client base.

In order to get ahead in a tight and competitive business Mike knew that he needed an edge. He started by designing unique ways to convey financial concepts to his clients in order to improve his acquisition and retention. Building on these ideas, Mike designed and implemented marketing campaigns that worked so well, it wasn't long before other financial advisors from across the country were using Mike's innovative ideas to help them to grow their own book of business.

Ultimately Michael Morrow won the Grand Prize in a National Best Ideas Competition which was open to all financial advisors from across Canada. Today, through his keynotes and workshops, Mike Morrow shows advisors how he has grown his business -- and how they can do it too.

In one simple statement: Michael lives by the philosophy that   "a confused buyer never buys". He has spent several years designing and field testing his concepts and analogies to provide advisors and their clients with an understanding of the key drivers that will make them successful.

Michael's views on money are regularly featured in national newspapers and industry trade journals.

Michael spoke at the 2009 Million Dollar Round Table Annual Meeting where approximately 6,000 of the world's most successful life insurance and financial services professionals were gathered from 76 nations.  He received a standing ovation and has since been asked to speak in countries all over the world.

Mike is also the winner of Thunder Bay Comic Idol 2009 where he discussed the lighter side of personal finance.  

Mike is a Diamond Knight of the Million Dollar Round Table.  He has twice been president of the Advocis Northwestern Ontario Chapter of the Financial Advisors Association of Canada. During his terms, his local association was first and second runner up for the Totem Pole award which ranks all 50 local associations on how effectively they are run. Michael has been on the board of his local Advocis chapter for approximately fifteen years as president, program chair and public relations chair.

Community work includes being active with the Knights of Columbus and his local church. In addition, Michael has been involved with Big Brothers and The United Way. He has also coached youth baseball for several years. Currently, Michael is on the board of directors of the Thunder Bay Institute of Professional Advisors.

Michael owns and operates Morrow Financial from Thunder Bay, Ontario. He has been married to Nina for 18 years. They enjoy spending time with their two children at their cottage in the summer or skiing in the winter.
